SNDCF-Subnetwork Dependent Convergence Function [Adax Inc.]

ADAX SNDCF (Subnetwork Dependent Convergence Function) is a Streamsdriver module which allows IP datagrams to be carried over a wide-areaX.25 connection. Coupled with ADAX's X.25 FOR UNIX and APC controllers,ADAX SNDCF links your host's TCP/IP to wide-area networks and turns yournetwork server into a gateway/router instantaneously.SNDCF provides a mapping of IP addresses to either PDN or DDN X.121addresses for the X.25 underlying service. Users with DDN certified LANsoftware have DDN connectivity with our certified X.25, thus saving theadditional cost of a DDN/TCP/IP protocol module. SNDCF has DLPI as itsupper interface and NPI as its lower interface and is therefore fullyStreams compatible. Physical connections can be modified at will by thenetwork administrator.
